Parks, Trails Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes December 21, 2010 <br />Page 6 <br />Ms. Olson indicated the church has agreed to sell all of the green space in front of the <br />park excluding the parking lot which the City will be allowed to use under some kind of <br />deed /agreement. <br />Ms. Olson handed out copies of an article about biking facilities for bridges that <br />Committee Member Straumann had requested she provide to the committee members. <br />Council Liaison Grant reported the City withheld its Municipal Consent for the 694 <br />Project and, therefore, Mn/DOT will be taking to an Arbitration Committee. He stated <br />that Mn/DOT has selected their arbitrator. Stan Harpstead has offered to be the arbitrator <br />representing the City, and then there will be a neutral 3 art <br />p Y <br />Committee Member Scott thanked and commended Mr. Peck on the fine job he did as <br />Chair the past couple years. <br />6. NEXT MEETING <br />A. The next meeting is scheduled for January 11, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. <br />7. ADJOURNMENT <br />Committee Member Petersen moved to adjourn, seconded by Committee Member O'Malley. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br />
