__ _ __ _ <br />C. The word "Minor" mear�s any na�ural person who has not yet reached the age <br />of eighteen (18) years. <br />D. The words "Moveable Place of Business" means any form of business <br />operated out of a truck, van, automobile, or other type of vehicle or <br />transportation shelter. <br />E. The words "Retail Establishment" means any place of business where a <br />tobacco product, or a tobacco related devic� is available for sale to the general <br />public. "Retail Establishments" shall include, but not be limited to, grocery <br />stores, convenience stores, resiauranis and on-sale or off-sale liquar <br />establishments. <br />F. The word "Sale" means any transfer of goods for anoney, trade, barter, or <br />other consideration. <br />G. The words "Self-Service Merchandising" means an open display of a tobacco <br />praduct or a tobacco related device in a manner where a person has access to <br />the tobacco product, or the tobacco related device, without the assistance or <br />interventian of licensee's employee. As used herein, "Self-Service <br />Merchandising" shall not include dispensing products by a vending machine. <br />H. The vcrords "Tobacco Froducts" means any substance ar item containing <br />tobacco, leaf, including but not limited to, cigarettes; cigars; pipe tobacco; <br />snuff, granulated, plug cut ar other chewing tobacco; cheroots; stogies; <br />perique; granulated, plug cut, crimp cut, ready-rubbed, and athe�- smoking <br />tobacco; snuff flowers; cavendish; shorts; plug and tvcrist tobaccos; dipping <br />tobaccos; refuse scraps, clippings, cuttings and sweepings of #abacca; and <br />ather kinds and forms of tobacco leaf prepared in such manner as to be <br />suitable for chewing, sniffing, ar smoking. <br />I. "Tobacco Related Device" rneans any devise intentionally designed or <br />intended to be used in a manner r�vhich enables the chewing, sni�fing or <br />smoking of a tobacco product. <br />J. The words "Vending Machine" means any mechanical, electrical or <br />electronic, ar other typ� of device which dispenses a tobacco product or a <br />tobacco related device upan the insertion of money, tokens, or other form of <br />payment dir�ctly inta the machine. <br />3503.03 Lice�se. <br />No person shall directly ar indirectly, keep for retaal sale, sell at retail, ar <br />otherwise dispose of Tabacco Products uz�less licensed by the City of Arden Hills. <br />License applications sha11 be subznitted to the City Administraior (or designee} <br />together with the license fees determined from time to time by the City Council. <br />A license shall be issued for the specific premises identified in the application. <br />350.04 A�plication. <br />A. An application for a license to sell tobacco product, or a tobacco <br />related device shall be xnade on a fortn provided by the Ci�y.
