This data will be used to ereate an X�-SWMM mode] for �se in <br />analyzrng the subwatershed. The XP-SWMM rrzodel deveIoped as part of this task wili include the <br />approxirnate area identi�ed on the attached ]ocaEion map. This model will he used to eval�ate the <br />hydrology of the subwatershed and determine the amount of runoff that r�eeds to be reduced to <br />alleviate flooding in Valentine Park. <br />3. Analys�s of model/Potential solutions <br />Once the model is cor�pletec�, the Consultant will grovide a report that c3iscusses results for the 2, 5, <br />lfl and lOd-year storm events. The co�sultant will prepare design options and associated cost <br />estifnates to reduce flooding at Valentine Park; these options rnay include any kind of improvement <br />with3n the subwatershed. This area is located within the jurisdictron of the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District; RCWD reqairements must be considered as a part of tf�e desigra solutions. <br />4. Su�mary Repork <br />The information gathered from the model, analysis and poEential solutians will be summarized in a <br />memorandum. Staff rr�ay ask [he Consultant to present the �ndings of the study at a City Council <br />rneeting, Parks, TraiIs and Recreatior� Committee meeting, and public infor�nation meeting.
