Since we have now settled the unian contract Eor <br />the years 2011 — 20�2, we now know that the increase for union employees will be 0% for 2011. <br />You have asked me what the ir�pact on the budget would be far a 1% increase retro to 7anuary 1, <br />2011. <br />The effect of a 1% in.crease on January 1$t wouid be as follows: <br />* The Enterprise Funds {Water, Sewer, Recycling, and Surface Water) show a reduction as tk�e <br />Budget figures for 2011 included the Accounting Analyst in 2011 at a full 12 manths of salary at <br />the current rate of pay {Step 4/5) of the for�ner employee. The current Accounting Analyst did <br />not start until mid-Febz-uary and is ai Step 1. The salary allocation of this employee affects the <br />enterprise funds as well as the General Fund sir�ce work is done across all funds. <br />
