In 2008, t�ere were 1,22� permits with a total value of <br />$ I 1,155,000. <br />Notable Commercial Construction in 2010 <br />Currently, they are 635 open construciio� permits; 360 of these are building perrnzts. The <br />remaining open permits are 83 rnechanical perznits, 57 pl�nbing pern�its, 33 electrica� permits, <br />2$ fire perrnits, 25 waier permits, rivelve zoning pezxz�its, ten sewer permits, and five sign <br />permits. All of the construction permits that are over two years old have been closed out or are <br />considered active. In additio�, all permits in ihe old pex�ztting software PTWIN have been <br />closed oui. <br />Sufnp Pump Inspections <br />As part of the Tnflow and Infiltration Program, staff completed all su�p pump inspections in <br />Zone 2. To date over two thirds of all residentiai properties in the City have been inspected. In <br />adcl�iion, Sta�f completed inspections for all commercial buildings in the City. Zor�e 3 residential <br />inspections will continue through 2011. <br />Code Enforcement <br />There were 277 Code Er�forcernent cases in 2010. Of that total, 258 cases were cornpleted and <br />closed, �eaving 19 pending cases. The majority of tl�ose pending cases are for unpermitted wark <br />and siivations that stzl� require manitoring. No citations were issued by City sta�� Three <br />abatement orders were ap�roved by Ciiy Council, and two wexe successfully carried out.
