ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—April 11, 2011 8 <br /> 9. Council Comments &Staff Updates (continued) <br /> Mayor Grant suggested the discussion regarding Round Lake be added to a City Council work <br /> session. - <br /> City Administrator Patrick Klaers referred to his April 11 memo and requested the City <br /> Council consider a revised meeting schedule for the months of April and May. He also stated the <br /> Financial Planning & Analysis Committee (FPAC) would like to invite the City Council to attend <br /> their meeting tomorrow, April 12, 2011, 6:00 p.m., to discuss the development of a policy on the <br /> use of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and on how much of the City's tax base should be included <br /> in TIF. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated it should be City policy that all members of the Council use the <br /> City calendar so that meetings can be more easily scheduled. She asked that this item be added to <br /> the next agenda. <br /> Councilmember Werner stated May 23 is the tentative last day of session so he may not be able <br /> to attend this meeting. He clarified he did not object to the City changing the date of the May 31 <br /> meeting to May 23. <br /> Councilmember Tamble stated the meeting dates and times proposed would be acceptable. And <br /> he would support changing the May 31 meeting to May 23. <br /> Councilmember Holmes clarified the April 18 meeting would not have discussions regarding <br /> City goals. She also stated the regular City Council meeting could be held on May 31 to <br /> accommodate all the Council members. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated the Council could vote. She also stated she would be in favor of <br /> changing the date to May 23. <br /> Mayor Grant stated he would support changing the date of the May 31 regular City Council <br /> meeting to May 23. <br /> It was the consensus of the City Council to accept the proposed meeting dates and times and <br /> reschedule the May 31 Regular City Council meeting to May 23. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br /> motion to adiourn.
