COUNCIL COMMENTS & STAFF UPDATES <br /> Councilmember Tamble stated the City's Clean Up Day is scheduled for May 7 and residents <br /> can view the hazardous waste drop off information on the website for acceptable items. <br /> Councilmember Holden asked what work was remaining with the CP Rail Trail project. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer stated the majority of what was remaining included landscaping - <br /> and clean up. There were no major construction items remaining with this project. <br /> Councilmember Holden asked Staff to follow up on Mr. Cmiel's comments regarding Round <br /> Lake. <br /> City Administrator Klaers stated there will be an opportunity for public comment in the review <br /> process in approximately six months; after the feasibility study was completed. The feasibility <br /> report will be prepared to look at options and the EPA will make the final decision on what action <br /> to take, if any, with Round Lake. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated she would like to have this information sent to the Council so <br /> they have an opportunity to study it. She also stated Northwest Youth and Family Services will be <br /> holding their Leadership Luncheon in May and the Council is encouraged to attend. She also <br /> stated the Friends of the Park tree sale was still and progress and it was not too late for residents to <br /> order their trees or make donations to the City's parks. <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated there would be an opening on the Planning Commission. <br /> Commissioner Liz Modesette would be resigning. She suggested those residents interested in the <br /> position should contact City Hall. <br /> Mayor Grant stated he had received a Letter from the Department of Commerce in regards to the <br /> 2010 Census. The letter outlined the procedure for making an appeal but if the Council did not <br /> see a reason to appeal then the letter would be filed. <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to not appeal the 2010 Census determination. <br />
