Ciiy of Arden Hills Chapter 13 Zoning Code <br />Section 1325 - General Regulations <br />1325.01 Accessory Structures. (Revised OI/3I/12) <br />Subd. 1 Time of Consiruction. No accessory structure shall be constructed on any <br />lot prior to #he time of construcfion of the principal structure to which it is accessory. <br />Subd.2 Height. <br />A. R-1, R-2, and R-3 Districts. Accessory structures in the R-1, R-2, and <br />R-3 Districts shall not exceed fifteen feet in height ar the height of the <br />principal struciure to which i# is accessary, whic�iever is lower. <br />B. All Oiher Districts. Accessory shuctures in aIl other Zoning Districts <br />sha11 not exceed the height of the principal sh�cture to r�hich it is <br />accessory. <br />Snbd. 3 LoC�tioTl (Revised 07/07/11). <br />A. Accessory structuxes in the R-1, R-2, or R-3 Districts shall not be <br />located nearer the front lot line than the front yard setback line for ihe <br />principai structure to which it is accessory. Accessory siructures as <br />permitted and regulated in this Code may be located within the rear yard <br />ai the principal st�zcture ir� the R- I and R-2 Districts. <br />B. Detached accesso ,z��axa es�rr�ay be „loca;ted in the froni yard (between <br />dwellin and s�treet of a lakeshore ro e rovided all of the follawin <br />are met: <br />1. Detached ara es shall not be located within the minimum front <br />yard setback. <br />2. Color_ ar�d roof material_ of _ detached garages shall match or <br />corn lement the existin rima residential structure and shall <br />conform to all ather re uir�rnents for the zonin district. <br />Subd.4 Size. <br />A.
