--AIDEN HILLS <br />Approved: August 29, 2011 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 8, 2011 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor, David Grant, Councilmembers: Fran Holmes, Brenda Holden, Ed <br />Werner and Nicholas Tamble. <br />Absent: None. <br />Also present: City Administrator Patrick Klaers; Director of Finance and Administrative <br />Services Sue Iverson; Public Works Director Terry Maurer; Parks and Recreation Manager <br />Michelle Olson; Community Development Director Jill Hutmacher; Deputy Clerk Rebecca <br />Brazys; and Recording Secretary Tina Borg. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Grant requested Item 2B. Celebrating Arden Hills Fall Festival Update be moved to Staff <br />Updates and to replace this Item with an update regarding the storm damage and related issues. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to Approve the Agenda as amended. The motion carried unanimously <br />(5 -0). <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br />A. TCAAP and Stadium Proposal Update <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher stated that on August 4, the City of Arden Hills <br />and Ramsey County jointly hosted an open house to present information on the Vikings stadium <br />proposal. She outlined the information that had been presented on environment and remediation, <br />finance and economic development, the stadium plan and land use, the history of the site and <br />previous proposals for development, and roles and responsibilities of the City and the County. <br />
