Page Two December 2, 2011 Mr. Maurer o A digital picture will be obtained for each outfall unless it is determined that the structure is submerged. o An inspection form for each outfall will be completed. Information to be gathered on the inspection form includes size, material type, physical condition, any damage will be noted, and any illicit discharge indications will be noted as well. • In addition to gathering coordinate locations for all outfalls, the field survey will also gather the location and number of inlets and outlets associated with the conveyance system to and from each storm pond. This information is needed for the Stormwater Pond Inventory. • Due to the time of year, weather may become a factor. If it appears that snow coverage or temperature has become an issue the City will be notified and it may be necessary to gather the remaining information in the spring. • The field data will then be utilized to update the City's GIS map. The outfalls will be shown on a separate layer at the correct coordinate location. The pertinent inspection data will then be added to the layer in order for the City to have the data stored in an easily accessible manner. Updating the GIS map will allow the City to have the outfalls mapped in the correct, field identified location providing for ease of future inspection. We are prepared to start immediately once approval is given. The work would be completed on an hourly not to exceed basis of$24,000.00. The staff that will be utilized to complete the work will be under the Staff Engineer($65/per hour)and Technician ($50/hour) categories.
