ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETNG—JANUARY 9, 2012 5 <br /> City Administrator Klaers commented that it is his understanding that North Heights Church is <br /> a member of this organization and offers such services to military families. <br /> Councilmember Holmes suggested that the City's colleges and companies could get involved as <br /> well. <br /> Council consensus was for the Mayor to appoint a liaison to this organization and for the Council <br /> to consider a supporting resolution. <br /> Councilmember Werner stated that the Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee will be meeting <br /> Tuesday, January 10, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Tamble reported that the website redesign ad hoc committee has met several <br /> times. They have narrowed down their choices for a website design vendor to two companies and <br /> will hold interviews the week of January 23rd. They hope to have a recommendation for Council <br /> at their February 13th meeting. <br /> Councilmember Holden questioned the status of the required emergency management training <br /> for Councilmembers. <br /> City Administrator Klaers stated he will investigate and get back to the Council. <br /> Councilmember Holmes commented that there are vacancies on some of the City commissions <br /> and committees. <br /> Mayor Grant stated he had received a copy of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br /> Community Tree Survey which included a chart of the trees in the City. He suggested the chart be <br /> posted on the City's website. <br /> City Administrator Klaers stated that he would like to add a work session to the Council's <br /> January 30th meeting to begin at 5:45 p.m. Joe Mansky, Ramsey County Elections, would like to <br /> provide an elections update. He stated there is also a development concept staff would like to <br /> review with the Council at that time. He would also like to add a work session at 6:00 p.m. <br /> February 13th to discuss roles and responsibilities of Council liaisons. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a <br /> motion to adiourn to the Work Session.
