Request for 2012-2013 projects: <br /> priority#1 Natural resource restoration at $50,000 <br /> Vadnais-Snail Lakes Regional Park <br /> Priority#2 Final phase redevelopment of $1,281,000 <br /> Keller Regional Park <br /> Priority#3: Pave north-south trail between the railroad underpass $125,000 <br /> And County Rd. E2 within Tony Schmidt <br /> Regional Park <br /> Priority#4: Pave existing gravel trail section within the Grass Lake $150,000 <br /> Segment of Vadnais-Snail Lakes Regional Park <br /> Mr. Jenni moved, seconded by Ms. Petersen,that the Commission recommend approval of the 2010- <br /> 2013 Regional Park Capital Improvement Program for submittal to the Metropolitan Council. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> TAMARACK NATURE CENTER DESTINATION FOR DISCOVERY <br /> Copies of the final Master Plan document were distributed to Commission members. Gary Hittle, Landscape <br /> Architect on the HKGI planning team, provided an overview of the site plan and each of the identified <br /> destinations. Jim Roe, Interpretive Planner for the HKGI planning team, discussed the philosophical <br /> foundation of the Master Plan and how the various destinations help fulfill the mission "To enrich people's <br /> "ves by helping them discover the value of nature through art, play, exploration and inquiry." The <br /> ammission participated in a walking tour of various sites within the Tamarack Nature Center property to <br /> discuss future destinations. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Upon appropriate motion, the meeting adjourned. <br /> Greg Mack <br /> 2 <br />
