ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETNG-DECEMBER 12, 2011 4
Mr. Mack responded the County has solicited proposals and held a pre-bid conference which was
attended by 120 people. The proposals are due by December 30 and it will take a couple of weeks
to review those proposals.
Councilmember Holden stated that she met with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
(MPCA) because she is concerned about remediation on this property. The MPCA assured her
that remediation requirements will be the same for the County as they would be for anyone else
who would purchase the property. She also stated that she likes that at least 44 percent of the
property will be cleaned to residential standards.
Mr. Mack pointed out that the County worked with the Council to identify the trail corridor on
the north end of the TCAAP property. Through this process, they did identify 15 additional acres
that will become a part of the wildlife corridor. The County has just completed the investigation
plan on that site and it will be cleaned to a recreational standard which is comparable to
residential. This property is not apart of the stadium project.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. October 24, 2011, Special Council Meeting
B.
