ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MARCH 12, 2012 4
Community Development Director Hutmacher stated this could be passed along to the business
owners and that an alternate representative could be present if the committee member was not able
to attend.
Mayor Grant questioned how the Council would like to proceed with this issue.
Councilmember Holmes was pleased that eight individuals were willing to volunteer to serve on
this committee. She was in favor of allowing for an alternate to attend assuring the businesses are
properly represented.
Mayor Grant suggested that the Resolution be amended to allow for the original committee
member to attend or a business representative from the organization.
MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a
motion to appoint the following individuals to the Corridor Advisory
Committee for the B-2 Implementation Plan:
Property Owners Wally Anderson, Harald Borrmann, Theodore Brausen,
Jon Commers, Daniel Flaherty, Kara Frank, Randy Hagerty, and Jay Higgins
(each member will be allowed a business representative as an alternate
member); Councilmembers Fran Homes and Ed Werner; Staff Members City
Planner Meagan Beekman, Community Development Director Jill Hutmacher
and Public Works Director Terry Maurer.
The motion carried unanimously (4-0).
9. He was happy to see a lot of activity at the home
tour.
Councilmember Werner indicated the Economic Development Commission was seeking
members. The next meeting was scheduled for April 41h. He encouraged those interested to
contact City Hall for further information.
Councilmember Holden thanked Community Development Director Hutmacher for updating the
City's website regarding ways to discourage coyotes.
