ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL–OCTOBER 8, 2012 6 <br /> Mayor Grant commented that Sprint recently submitted an application for an upgrade of their <br /> equipment on the Red Fox water tower. <br /> Community Development Director Hutmacher explained that all wireless providers are <br /> planning some sort of upgrade related to 4G technology. She confirmed that the Council had <br /> recently approved an agreement with SEH to do the technical review of Sprint's proposal. She <br /> noted that Sprint's preference is a lease amendment versus a new lease, so staff will be working <br /> on that and it will go to the Council for approval at a later date. <br /> Mayor Grant stated that he heard that the results of the environmental study of the Triangle <br /> Parcel were going to be given to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) for review, <br /> and he is wondering what the progress is regarding the study. <br /> Community Development Director Hutmacher noted that the final report has been submitted to <br /> the MPCA. Staff requested a copy and is in the process of reviewing the lengthy document. Staff <br /> has contacted the MPCA to see where they are at in the review process. When results are known, <br /> they will be reported to the Council. <br /> Mayor Grant stated that Walgreens is now open for business. <br /> Mayor Grant noted that the Karth Lake Improvement District will be meeting tomorrow night to <br /> discuss lake water quality. <br /> Mayor Grant inquired if a date has been set for the Financial Planning and Analysis Committee <br /> (FPAC)meeting. <br /> Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson explained that a date has not been set <br /> yet for the next FPAC meeting because data is still being analyzed at this time. She noted that the <br /> CIP will be discussed at the October work session. After that, the data can be entered and another <br /> meeting will be scheduled. <br /> Mayor Grant questioned if the water rates would be reviewed. <br /> Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson confirmed that the water rates would <br /> be reviewed. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a <br /> motion to adiourn.
