BANNERS
Ted Brausen and Ray McGraw discussed the survey of the businesses
along County Road E for their support and contribution towards
replacing the banners. The businesses were willing to participate in the
project, but not to the amount estimated for the project. It was suggested
that if the banners could be obtained at a lower cost, then the businesses
may be willing to contribute.
It was suggested to investigate into the manufactures around the Arden
Hills area, such as; St. Paul Metalcraft and see if they could make the
brackets for the banners. It was also suggested,to check out different
options in renting the equipment to replace the banners. It was stated
that the banners would be cheaper if they were only replaced twice a
year, instead of four times a year. It was suggested; however, the more
• often you change the banners the more noticeable the banners would be.
The Staff will investigate options on reducing the cost of the banners and
would report back at the November meeting.
