• The Council may be reviewing the assessment policy as it relates to the <br /> street maintenance program. <br /> The Council is still in the process of making a decision on whether or not <br /> the City of Arden Hills will be involved with the Quad Ice Arena. <br /> The City of Arden Hills is evaluating five (5) architectural firms to <br /> provide services for the design of the new City Hall. The Council should <br /> be making a decision by the end of September. <br /> 7. MISCEI T,ANEOUS <br /> Ramsey County will be reconstructing the Cleveland Avenue bridge in <br /> 1997. The Golden Quince Bakery is a new business in Arden Hills and is <br /> located in Arden Plaza. The City of Arden Hills has been informed that <br /> the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development has <br /> awarded the CPI project a$300,000 grant(forgivable loan) for the creation <br /> of at least 70 high paying jobs and the retention of 540 high paying jobs in <br /> Arden Hills. <br /> 8. COMMITTEE COMMENTS <br /> • Ray McGraw stated he would like to see the Economic Development <br /> Committee get involved with the discussion on the Pavement Management <br /> Program. <br /> Jeanne Winiecki stated that MPCA is in the process of reviewing the re- <br /> issuance of a toxic waste storage permit at TCAAP. The relevant <br /> information on the permit is at the Arden Hills library. <br /> Arnold Lindberg stated that the City Hall should be built now, because the <br /> longer the City waits, the more expensive the cost is going to be. <br /> Dan McCallum stated that it should not be hard to sell the ice time for the <br /> Quad Ice Arena. <br /> 9.
