APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes from the May 15, 1996 meeting were approved, with the
following correction to the last page, last paragraph in section E, it should
read; Jeanne Winiecki stated that it would be nice to meet with a City
which has similar demographics to Arden Hills. A motion was made by
Dan McCallum to approve the minutes, as amended and seconded by Ray
McGraw.
4. MARKETING BROCHURE
The Committee decided that there would be more graphic information to
convey the information in the brochure. The Committee concluded that
the brochure needs to be focused primarily on the business people, but also
towards the residents.
The cover of the marketing brochure was discussed at length. The
Committee needs to try and decide what five (5)to six(6) things should be
on the cover that would appeal to the business people. Some of the
options that were considered were; pictures in a collage; such as Bethel
College, Lake Johanna etc., a square map of the City with a few businesses
in the background; such as Control Data, CPI, etc., The Committee
decided to write letters to some of the bigger companies in Arden Hills
asking them if they have any pictures of their company, that we could use
for the marketing brochure.
