CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: February 21, 1996 <br /> TO: Economic Development Committee <br /> FROM: Kevin Ringwald, Community Development Director <br /> SUBJECT: Committee Member Recruitment Update <br /> The EDC has increasing the EDC membership as its priority goal for 1996. To that end, the <br /> EDC has set out some general criteria for recruiting new members. Those criteria are; exposure <br /> to business activities, different attitudes towards development, mixes of people, contacts with <br /> other local businesses, and established business owners. The EDC members are to be <br /> responsible for the recruitment of new members to the EDC. The Staff will contact these people <br /> and then forward their applications to the City Council for consideration of appointment to the <br /> EDC. <br /> The following names have been forwarded to staff: Tom Andreason(Andreason Engineering and <br /> Manufacturing, 1209 West County Road E) by Tom Goblirsch; Jeanne Winiecki (4471 Old <br /> . Highway 10) and Ted Brausen(Brausen Enterprises, 1310 West County Road E) by Ray <br /> McGraw. The Staff has contacted all of these potential members, but has yet to receive any <br /> applications. The Staff will forward these applications to the City Council as soon as its receives <br /> the applications. <br /> • <br />
