ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MAY 28, 2013 5 <br /> AMENDMENT: Councilmember Holmes moved to amend Item 5 allowing for hydro- <br /> seeding instead of sod. The amendment motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> The motion passed (4-0). <br /> 10. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Werner noted that the Ramsey County League of Local Government will meet <br /> on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. The topic will be Partnering with the Schools. <br /> Councilmember Holden requested an update on the Carroll's Furniture building. <br /> City Administrator Klaers stated that the property has not been purchased, but noted that staff is <br /> working on getting the windows fixed. <br /> Councilmember Holden questioned why the Planning Commission is holding a special meeting. <br /> City Administrator Klaers commented that the purpose of the meeting is to review the <br /> Lexington Avenue redevelopment proposal. <br /> Mayor Grant indicated that the former Holiday Inn/McGuire's property will be able to be toured <br /> mid-June. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to <br /> adjourn to the work session.
