ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—APRIL 8, 2013 6 <br /> Public Works Director Maurer commented he will speak with the County regarding this matter <br /> and will report back to the Council. <br /> Councilmember Holmes understood Old Highway 10 was a County road. She indicated the <br /> speed limit on this roadway is currently 45 mph and should be lowered. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer noted the speed limit on this roadway was established by the <br /> County and not the City. <br /> Mayor Grant reported the Friends of the Park tree sale greatly benefited the City's forestry <br /> system. He encouraged residents to purchase and plant trees. <br /> Mayor Grant stated on County Road E the former Holiday Inn property has a sign posted noting <br /> that the property is for sale or lease. He requested City staff speak with the property owner to <br /> remove the sign. <br /> Mayor Grant noted he met with the Mounds View School Board and Superintendent last week to <br /> discuss items of interest. He commented Roseville will be doing some park rehabilitation and <br /> improvements, North Oaks will be having a new housing development, and New Brighton is <br /> negotiating a housing development with Pulte Homes. In addition, the Shoreview library would <br /> be expanded with a focus on younger readers. He reported to the group the events that would be <br /> taking place on the TCAAP property. <br /> Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson indicated the City received the <br /> Popular Annual Financial Report Award for 2011. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember McClunjj seconded a <br /> motion to adjourn.
