PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to sit; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to work in outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. EXAMPLES OF PERFORMANCE CRITERIA Assisting in the development, revision and implementation of the Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Plan to reflect the needs and desires of the Community. Effective working relationships established with the Community Development Director, City Staff, local and regional governments, community groups and the general public. Ability to complete assigned work effectively and in a timely manner. Maintain communication with City staff, City officials, committees and commissions, as well as community members. Maintain a pleasant, tactful, and courteous manner in dealing with the public and fellow employees.
