The following three variances are being requested;1) Landscape Lot <br />Coverage, 2) B-2 Design Standards and 3) Off-Public Street Parking. The proposed parking lot <br />expansion would add sixteen (16) additional parking spaces. <br />Background <br />1.Overview of Request <br />The applicant,Staples Contract & Commercial, Inc.,is proposing to increase the size of the <br />parking lot to add sixteen (16) additional parking spaces at their facility located at 1221/1233 <br />County Road E. The property is located within the B-2 Zoning District,northof County <br />Road E, south of railroad tracts, east of HWY 51 and west of Lexington Avenue.The facility <br />contains one (1) structure made up of both office and warehouse uses, which total112,200 <br />square feet. There is 27,200 square feet of office spaceand 85,000 square feet of warehouse <br />space at the facility. <br />The applicant is proposing this change in order to provide additional parking <br />accommodations to their regular employees.
