ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL JULY 8, 2013 12 <br /> <br />Councilmember HolmesCouncilmember Holden <br /> and supported this request. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung <br /> questioned if the Lexington Avenue sidewalk could be completed by <br />the City and be assessed back to the applicant. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br /> believed this could be done by the City. <br /> <br />The amendment failed (0-5). <br /> <br />AMENDMENT: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember McClung <br />seconded an amendment to require the applicant to complete the <br />sidewalks in Phase I and Phase II as shown in the Master PUD in <br />Phase I and that the applicant coordinate this project with Ramsey <br />County. <br /> <br />The amendment carried (5-0). <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> requested this amendment be added as Condition 25 for approval. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember McClung <br />seconded an amendment to require the applicant to work with staff <br />and add four additional planters or planting areas with vegetation on <br />the east side of the Phase I building. <br /> <br />The amendment carried (5-0). <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> requested this amendment be added as Condition 26 for approval. <br /> <br />The motion carried as amended (5-0). <br /> <br />9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />10. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> publicly recognized and welcomed Ryan Streff as the new City Planner to the City <br />of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Ryan Streff <br /> introduced himself and stated that he is looking forward to working with the Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> commented that Now Bikes and Fitness i <br />property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes <br /> stated that the Valentine Park grand reopening ceremony will take place <br />on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. <br /> <br /> <br />
