ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—JULY 8, 2013 3 <br /> Community Development Director Hutmacher stated that in addition to the public events <br /> described above, the City Council will hold a public hearing on TCAAP at the first Council <br /> meeting of every month. Residents are invited to attend the public hearings to offer their thoughts <br /> and opinions on TCAAP development. <br /> C. Transportation Update <br /> City Administrator Klaers reported that the weather has been cooperating as of late and that the <br /> County oad 96 project continues to move forward. Night to Unite 2013 Proclamation <br /> Deputy Clerk Dietl stated that the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association along with AAA of <br /> Minnesota and Iowa is sponsoring a nationwide crime prevention program. She requested that the <br /> Council declare Tuesday, August 6, 2013, as "Night to Unite" in Arden Hills. Events will take <br /> place from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and additional information is available on the City's website. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a <br /> motion to accept a proclamation declaring August 6,2013, as "Night to Unite" <br /> in Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota. The motion carried unanimously <br /> (5-0). <br /> 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> None. <br /> 5. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> A. Motion to Approve Consent Agenda Item- Claims and Payroll <br /> B. Motion to Authorize the Hiring of a Seasonal Maintenance Worker <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br /> motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br /> execution of all necessary documents contained therein.
