ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—JULY 8, 2013 3 Community Development Director Hutmacher stated that in addition to the public events described above, the City Council will hold a public hearing on TCAAP at the first Council meeting of every month. Residents are invited to attend the public hearings to offer their thoughts and opinions on TCAAP development. C. Transportation Update City Administrator Klaers reported that the weather has been cooperating as of late and that the County oad 96 project continues to move forward. Night to Unite 2013 Proclamation Deputy Clerk Dietl stated that the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association along with AAA of Minnesota and Iowa is sponsoring a nationwide crime prevention program. She requested that the Council declare Tuesday, August 6, 2013, as "Night to Unite" in Arden Hills. Events will take place from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and additional information is available on the City's website. MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a motion to accept a proclamation declaring August 6,2013, as "Night to Unite" in Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES None. 5. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Motion to Approve Consent Agenda Item- Claims and Payroll B. Motion to Authorize the Hiring of a Building Inspector C. Motion to Approve 2013-2014 Cable Services Agreement with the City of New Brighton D. Motion to Authorize the Hiring of a Seasonal Maintenance Worker MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein.
