<br />C.Highway 96 and Lexington Avenue <br /> <br />The sign would need to be enlarged; Nick and Jay thought perhaps 12-14 feet wide and 8 <br />feet high. <br /> <br />No City water is readily available to the site (800 feet west on Hwy 96) so irrigation may <br />be cost prohibitive. <br /> <br /> However the City <br />tanker would be needed to get the vegetation established and during times of extended <br />draught. <br /> <br /> would represent the top end of cost. Lower costs could be achieved <br />by removing items (vegetation and/or rock features) as long as a critical mass sufficient <br />for the size and prominence of the site were maintained (this is something that Nick can <br />comment on). <br /> <br />The cost of a larger sign would be in the $15,000 range and the full implementation of the <br />sketch plan could run an additional $45,000 to $55,000. <br /> <br />Both of the first two sites could be completed in 2013 if the Council gave direction to proceed at <br />an upcoming meeting.
