City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective August 26, 2003 <br /> <br /> probationary period and is scheduled for that number <br /> of hours which make up the regularly scheduled <br /> weekly or monthly period of service in the class. <br />Regular Part-time Employee Regular part-time employee means a regular <br />employee who has successfully completed the <br />designated probationary period and is employed on <br />a schedule of 20 or less hours per week. <br />Service Credit The specified period of time required for an <br />employee to be eligible for benefits. <br />Temporary Employee Temporary employee shall mean any person who is <br />engaged in part-time, seasonal, or casual <br />employment. Temporary employees shall not accrue <br />benefits or Personal Time Off. <br />Termination The separation of an employee from the municipal <br />service as a result of discharge, resignation, <br />retirement, or death. <br />Transfer The position within the same class as the position <br />previously held. A transfer does not result in a <br />change in pay range. <br /> <br /> <br /> 4 <br />
