City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective August 26, 2003 <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />All City employees are responsible for conducting themselves in a man <br />spirit and intent of this policy. The Non-Discrimination, Harassment and Inappropriate <br />Behavior Policy applies to all officers and employees of the CitArden Hills, including but <br />not limited to, full and part-time employees, regular, seasonal and temporary employees, and <br />the employees covered or exempt from personnel rules or regulatis, along with others not <br />directly connected to the City of Arden Hills (e.g. an outside vendor, consultant or customer). <br />Conduct prohibited by these policies is unacceptable in the work place and in any work- <br />related settings outside the workplace, such as during business trips, business meetings and <br />business-related social events. <br /> <br />This policy will be distributed to all employees of the City. Every employee will be required to <br />acknowledge his/her receipt of this policy in writing. A copy ofment shall <br />be kept on file in the human resources department. Supervisors shall be responsible for <br />insuring that all employees under their direction are familiar w <br /> <br />Supervisors are responsible for conducting themselves in a mannert with the spirit <br />and intent of this policy. They shall establish and maintain a climate in the work unit whi <br />encourages employees to communicate questions or concerns regard <br />incidents of discrimination, harassment and inappropriate or disrespectful behavior, take <br />immediate corrective action to eliminate such incidents, and not <br />officers in the event of inappropriate or disrespectful behavior <br />allegations so that consistent investigatory procedures may be implemented. <br /> <br /> <br /> 43 <br />
