City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective August 26, 2003 <br /> <br />UNPAID LEAVE OF ABSENCE <br /> <br />Upon consideration of a formal written request by an employee, l <br />may be granted at the discretion of the City Administrator basedation of the <br />following factors: <br /> <br />1. Municipal service needs; <br />2. The employee's performance record and length of service; <br />3. The reason(s) for the request; <br />4. Any other relevant information. <br /> <br />If granted, unpaid leave of absence may not exceed a period of ninety (90) continuous <br />calendar days. <br /> <br />An extension beyond that period may be granted at the discretion of <br />however, an unpaid leave of absence shall not exceed one (1) cal <br />employee is in the military service or has been disabled while pob duties in the <br />municipal service.
