Reas�ns hi�hlight�d at tlae rr�eeting: <br />• Th� Gity has an appro�ed Ma�nier�ance PQliay that places our parks in le�els <br />c�f �a�nter�arice. I�azelnut is c�assi�ed as a Le�el �ne park �Perry Part� and <br />Cumrnin�s �ark are the crt.�er twc�}. Leve1 t7ne is defined within the <br />Ma�ntenance �olicy as: Highest le�el of mainienance at a la.�'�er <br />community park c�r athleti� �omplex. Turf �reas are subject to fre�uent and <br />interrs� Ievels pf u�e ihro��h��at a majarity of the growing seas€�n. The�e <br />parks are used a�e��larly far organized sports. M�intenan�e at this leUel <br />maintains the par�C or facility at a s#�ndard su�`ficient ta ensure a well-k�pt <br />a�apearance. Th� City sha�ed t�ae cost of rna.in�enan�e of these fields (mowing, <br />outdoor bathrooms, field paint and nets} �.nd with this �e�d nt� lvnger <br />a�ailable, this will be a cvst sa�vi�tgs. <br />• Th� Norfh Suba�rhan Association has cozxamittec� to a dan�ii�n taward ti�e <br />irrigation project. <br />Staff wark�d with Minnesvta Irrigation D�stri�ution Ce�ter to assemble plans ar�d <br />�pecificaiions for the irri�atian �ys�em. The project scvpe inelud�s w��ering t��ih the ball <br />field and the saccer field. Staff jncluded one smali segtnent Qf landscaping in front of t�e <br />picnic shelter {�n�iuding �e perennial garden around �ark si�n) as an alterna�e.
