Staff also learned since the August work session that the current water meter distributor is <br />terminating its service agreement. A new distributor will be supplying water meters by <br />the end of the year, and staff has been told to expect a 5 to 7% increase in current water <br />meter prices. Since there is uncertainty regarding the increase in price, staff is proposing <br /> in the fee <br /> Customer Requested Water Meter <br />. Staff can revisit the water meter fees at a later date. <br /> <br />Business Licensing. Staff increased the fee in 2013 when Council approved to increase <br />all fees on the fee schedule by five percent. Staff has learned that State Statute 449.15 <br />limits the maximum fee amount to $15 per location and $15 per machine.
