The event was well attended and a lot of interaction took place. She
indicated that the consultants present tonight would be reviewing: the comments from the
developer interviews which were conducted in July 2013; the results of the panel and stakeholder
engagement workshop that was held in July 2013; and the feedback that was received at the
September open house. Staff requested input from the Council on their ideas for the Master Plan
th
as Kimley-has of the process. On October 14 the
Council will be asked to approve the development scenarios for the AUAR. It was noted that a
draft Master Plan should be available for the Council to review in December.

Brian Smalkoski,
Kimley-Horn, reviewed the master planning schedule. He noted that his team
is moving on from the discovery phase into developing a draft Master Plan that will be discussed
by the Council in December. Over the next few months, the input received will be worked into
this plan. The plan will then be adopted in 2014. After that point, draft policies and regulations
will be addressed in order to complete the AUAR in a timely manner.
