If the City receives complaints regarding noise levels, the applicant <br />shall be responsible for providing decibel measurements from the property line and <br />reducing noise levels to be in compliance with MPCA regulations. <br />A public hearing regarding this planning case was held at the December 3, 2013, Planning <br />Commission Regular Meeting. One resident whose property abuts the Boston Scientific campus <br />expressed concerns that the proposed addition would result in increased noise levels in the <br />adjacent residential district. Staff received one e-mail from a local property owner concerning <br />this application. The correspondence between the resident and staff is included in Attachment G. <br />1. If the City denies the petitioners request, <br />4. Table for additional information. <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on November 15, <br />2013. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City was required to act on this request by January <br />14, 2014 (60 days), unless the City provided the petitioner with written reasons for an additional <br />60 day review period. On November 27, 2013, the City notified the applicant that an additional <br />60 days for review was needed in order to ensure that the City Council could take action on this <br />item. The extension grants the City until March 4, 2014, to act on this request. The City may, <br />with the consent of the applicant, extend the review period beyond the initial 120 days. <br />A.
