April – September 2015
(1)
The walk through with area property owners is to coincide with substantial completion of the design
documents (approx. 90% plans). The objective is to share the details of the final design with adjacent
property owners and to refine the design according to any special project concerns or circumstances that
might be identified during these discussions.
From an engineering standpoint, this project is feasible, cost effective, and necessary and can best be accomplished
by letting competitive bids for the work. It is recommended that the work be done under one contract in order to
complete the work in an orderly and efficient manner. The City, its financial consultant, and the persons assessed
will have to determine the economic feasibility of the proposed improvements.
