NEW BUSINESS 8C <br />submitted plans as presented in the February 24, 2014, Report to the City Council, as amended <br />by the following six (6) conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />1.That the project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted as amended <br />by the conditions of approval. Any significant changes to these plans, as determined by <br />the City Planner, shall require review and approval by the Planning Commission and City <br />Council. <br /> <br />2.That one (1) freestanding sign shall be permitted at each of the following properties: <br />3725, 3728, 3750, 3757 and 3768 Dunlap Street North, and 1230 Grey Fox Road. <br /> <br />3.That each freestanding sign shall not exceed the sign copy area of thirty-two (32) square <br />feet and a total sign area of sixty-three (63) square feet. <br /> <br />4.That the signs shall be located to preserve the clear vision area. <br /> <br />5.That a property owner identification sign may be located on the base of each sign but <br />shall not exceed two (2) square feet in size. <br />Managed by: Transwestern <br /> <br />6.That the applicant shall apply for a sign permit prior to the installation of the sign. <br /> <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br />Motion to Approve Planning Case #14-006 for a Site Plan Review and Sign Standard <br />Adjustment that would allow for a deviation from the Sign Code at 3725, 3728, 3750, 3757 and <br />3768 Dunlap Street North, and 1230 Grey Fox Road, to increase the amount of freestanding <br />signage at the properties, based on the findings of fact and the submitted plans, as amended by <br />the six (6) conditions in the February 24, 2014, Report to the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />Options <br /> <br /> <br />1.Approve the proposal as submitted. <br /> <br />2.Approve the proposal with conditions (Recommended Action). <br /> <br />3.Deny the application with reasons for denial. <br /> <br />4.Table for additional information. <br /> <br />The findings in this report currently support approval of this Site Plan Review and Sign Standard <br />Adjustment.
