PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS 3B <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: March 31, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO:Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> <br /> <br />FROM: Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Northeast Youth and family Services <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br /> <br />Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS) President and CEO Jerry Hromatka has <br />requested to come before the City Council to provide his annual update about services <br />provided by NYFS to Arden Hills residents. <br /> <br />Miriam Ward is our Arden Hills representative on the NYFS Board and has been on the <br />Board since April 2012. <br /> <br />th <br />The annual NYFS Leadership Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 from 1:30 <br />to 1:00 at the Midland Hill Country Club in Roseville. Jan Malcolm, President of the <br />Courage Kenny Foundation, is the featured speaker. <br /> <br />Ukrainian Church by way of charitable gambling funds. However, starting in 2014, this <br />relationship will cease to exist and the City will be funding the local contribution. Our <br />contribution in 2014 is $15,087. <br /> <br />Attached for your information is a brief power point presentation that reviews the 2013 <br />NYFS activities. <br /> <br /> <br />
