JointDevelopmentAuthority <br />TCAAPRedevelopmentProject <br />WeanticipatethatthisgrantcouldcoverplacemakingenhancementsintheTownSquareportionofthe <br />sitewithregardtopedestrianaccess,streetlevelimprovementssuchassidewalks,paths,lightingand <br />seating,aswellasafunctionalamenitythatwouldserveasafocalpointattheentrancetothesitefrom <br />CountyRoadH. <br />ApplicationProcess <br />EithertheCityortheCountymayapplyforLCAgrants.TheJDAisnotaneligibleapplicant.The <br />MetropolitanCouncilwillnotacceptjointapplications,andtheCityandCountywillbediscussingwhich <br />entityshouldapply.BothCityandCountystaffwillassistwiththeapplicationprocess. <br />ApplicationmaterialsweremadeavailableonMarch31,2014.TheLCDAProjectConceptPlanisdueon <br />May1,2014.Givenprojecttimelinesandthatdevelopmentmustoccurwithinthreeyearsofthegrant <br />award,aTBRAapplicationisplannedforthefallgrantcyclewhichhasanearlyNovemberdeadline. <br />MetropolitanCouncilstaffwillevaluatet/txandselectwhichprojectswillbeinvitedtosubmitfull <br />LCDAapplications.ThefullLCDAapplicationsaredueonJune30,2014. <br />
