-AZEEN HILLS <br /> Approved: April 14, 2014 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> FEBRUARY 24,2014 <br /> 7:00 P.M. -ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Pro-Tem Holmes called to order the regular <br /> City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant (arrived at 7:01 p.m.), Councilmembers Brenda <br /> Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave McClung, and Ed Werner <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: City Administrator Patrick Klaers; Director of Finance and Administrative <br /> Services Sue Iverson; Public Works Director Terry Maurer; Community Development <br /> Director Jill Hutmacher; Parks and Recreation Manager Michelle Olson; Associate <br /> Planner Matthew Bachler; City Attorney Joel Jamnik; and City Clerk Amy Died <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> 1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br /> motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> 2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> Andy Holewa, 4480 Pleasant Drive, thanked the Mayor and Council for the time they spend on <br /> City business. He also thanked staff for the great respect they show to the residents of Arden <br /> Hills. He congratulated Pam Sweeney on being named Employee of the Year. He then discussed <br /> the communication level of the City and encouraged the Council to broadcast the Council work <br /> sessions. He recommended that the microphones in the Council Chambers be improved and <br /> expressed concern with the cable broadcasts, reporting that there are missing sections in some <br /> meetings and other portions are difficult to hear. <br />
