City of Arden Hills <br />Proposal for Assistance with NPDES-MS4 Permit Implementation <br />Wencks Experience <br /> <br />During the recent permit renewal period, Wenck Associates worked <br />and the cities of Corcoran, Dayton, and Loretto to review their <br />Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and submit revised SWPPPs and permit applications to the MPCA. <br /> <br />We continue to assist our clients as their permits take effect, <br />their policies and procedures for all permit requirements. As we make progress, we are developing a <br />MS4 master document for our municipal clients that includes information about each section of the <br />permit: <br /> <br />I.MS4 SWPPP Application for Reauthorization <br />II.General Permit MNR040000: Authorization to Discharge Stormwater <br />Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems <br />III.MPCA Communications <br />IV.Partnerships <br />V.Regulatory Mechanisms <br />VI.Enforcement Response Procedures <br />VII.Storm Sewer System Map, Inventory, and Inspection Forms <br />VIII.Minimum Control Measures <br />IX.Discharges to Impaired Waters <br />X.Alum or Ferric Chloride Phosphorus Treatment Systems <br />XI.Annual MS4 Reports <br />XII.Schedule of 2014 Tasks, Training Rosters, Training Resources <br /> <br />When completed, the master documents will provide a single sourc <br />program and a roadmap to meet permit requirements through 2018, permit <br />term. It also provides staff with a single reference that can be <br />questions the agency may have regarding permit compliance. <br /> <br />Work Plan <br />Our work plan follows the tasks outlined in the Request for Propaddition of several <br />meetings to kick off and discuss progress with the project. For <br />the subtasks based on the 6-month or 12-month deadlines given in the excerpt from the Citys MS4 <br />permit application. <br /> <br />Tasks within six-month deadline <br /> <br />By September 16, 2014, Wenck will review existing policies, proc <br />compare them to new permit requirements.
