ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MARCH 31, 20149 <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> questioned where the County was getting incentive funds from. <br /> <br />Ms. Worthington <br /> discussed the incentives the County was prepared to offer to potential <br />companies. She apologized for not having the specific numbers in front of her this evening. She <br />explained this was not public information and did not want to discuss this further until a decision <br />was made by the County board. <br /> <br />City Administrator Klaers <br /> commented that the City wanted to work with the County to <br />encourage development. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes <br />the roadway to the north within the thumb. <br /> <br />Ms. Worthington <br /> stated that this was pending negotiation and she was not prepared to discuss <br />this matter with the Council and was not comfortable discussing specific information at a public <br />meeting at this time. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the types of incentives that may be offered to potential businesses <br />moving into the area. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council to not charge City SAC and WAC fees and the Met <br />Council SAC fee (based on 30 units) for the currently proposed user of the thumb site. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Mayor Grant adjourned the City Council work session at 10:40 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________ __________________________ <br />Amy Dietl David Grant <br />City Clerk Mayor <br />
