He stated they are in the preliminary stages as they
have some issues regarding parking.

Council Liasion McClung also mentioned that the new gateway sign was placed at
County Road E2 and Cleveland at the Triangle Property.

Mr. McClung asked if anyone was interested in writing for the Communications
Committee. He stated they would love to have additional people to help them write as
they are short people.

B. She will send out an e-mail to establish a date
for the interview and hopefully if all goes well the committee will have a new
appointment.

Ms. Olson indicated she is trying to get two grants done - the TAP (Transportation
Alternatives Program) and then a Planning Grant for Safe Routes to School. She is
working with the City of New Brighton and three schools (Moundsview, Valentine Hills,
) on a plan for the Safe Routes to School Grant, which needs to be in place
in order to apply.

Ms. Olson indicated things are going well as far as trail plowing and rinks are concerned.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION:
Committee Member Petersen moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m., seconded
by Committee Member Van Valkenburg.
