MEMORANDUM <br />DATE:April 15, 2014 <br />TO:Terry Maurer, Public Works Director <br />Parks Trails and Recreation Committee <br />FROM:Michelle Olson, Parks and Recreation Manager <br />SUBJECT:TCAAP Park Recommendation <br />Requested Action <br />Staff presenteda TCAAP park analysis of the master plan draft at the March 18, 2014 PTRC <br />meeting. After discussion and review, the PTRC formed a subcommittee to further review the <br />analysis. The City Council has asked for the PTRC to make a recommendation that willbe <br />st <br />presented at their work session on Monday, April 21.The subcommittee met on Tuesday, <br />April 1 and below is the recommendation for the PTRC to review. <br />PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION <br />After reviewing the staff analysis (Attachment A), the PTRC TCAAP park subcommittee <br />recommends the following for parks: <br />Creek Neighborhood Park: <br />1 Soccer/Baseball Combination (Unlighted) <br />o <br />1 Basketball Court (Half) <br />o <br />1 Play Structure <br />o <br />1 Picnic Shelter (Portable Bathrooms) <br />o <br />15-20 Parking Spaces (on-street and/or lot) <br />o <br />Community (Town Neighborhood) Park: <br />2 Tennis Courts <br />o <br />1 Basketball Court (Full) <br />o <br />1 Play Structure <br />o <br />2 Picnic Shelters <br />o <br />1 Splash Pad <br />o <br />20-25 parking spaces (on-street and/or lot) <br />o <br />12 <br />Page of <br />
