(i.e., 793,000
gallons per day), and the estimated peak flow is 4.1 cubic feet
per second, (ed on a 3.3 peak flow factor), and
WHEREAS, the projected flows from District NC are as
follows:
Year
1980
1985
1990
Population
Equivalent Average Flow M.G.D.
2844 0.284
5033 0.503
5749 0.575
Peak Flow C.F.S.
1.58
2.80
3.20, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that trunk sanitary sewer
capacities in District W will have to be increased by 1984 if
District NC continues to flow into District W, and
WHEREAS, a gravity sanitary sewer diverting sewage flows
from District NC to New Brighton would eliminate the need for
. Sewer Pumping Station No. 10 in the City and the need for further
' pumping of sewage from District W, resulting in a saving of
electrical energy and other operation and maintenance costs, and
 ,
WHEREAS, in the City's report entitled "Proposed New
Brighton Sanitary Sewer Connection", dated August 18, 1981, a
copy of which is attached hereto, it was shown that Plan B--the
plan therein which propased the construction of a gravity sewer
to New Brighton--provided a long-term savings to the City of
approximately $325,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the City's Council approved Plan B at its meeting
on August 3T, 1981, and
