CONSENTITEM –5C <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: <br />June 30, 2014 <br />TO: <br />Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br />FROM: <br />Ryan Streff, City Planner <br />SUBJECT:Planning Case#14-021 <br />Applicant: <br />Arden Village, LLC <br />Property Location: <br />1290 County Road F West <br />Request: <br />Temporary Wall SignageExtension <br />Requested Action <br />Motion to approve Planning Case 14-021for a sixty (60) day extension of the temporary wall <br />signage at 1290 County Road F West, as amended by the two(2) conditions in the June 30, <br />2014, Report to the City Council. <br />Background <br />During the City Council meeting on January 27, 2014, the Council approved a Site Plan Review <br />and Sign Standard Adjustment at 1290 County Road F West that allowed for an increasein the <br />amount of temporary wall signage and the amount of time it is permitted to be displayed. <br />Arden Village is now requesting a sixty (60) day extension of the temporary wall signage that <br />was permittedby the Council in Planning Case 13-023. The approval in January permittedthe <br />wall signageuntil July 1, 2014,or until the building was fully occupied.The applicant has stated <br />that the signage has been very helpful in their efforts to fully occupy and lease the apartment <br />units.
