Therefore,City Staff is proposing that the engineering fees not eligible for reimbursement be budgeted for in 2008 and project construction costs in 2009. Both would be taken from the Special Revenue Park Fund. Within the Safe Routes to School Grant Application,staff has included an in-kind donation from the City of Arden Hills to possibly relocate nine fire hydrants along the trail route on County Road E2. If contracted out,this would be an estimated cost of$36,000. However, if City Staff does the work,the cost will be significantly less.
