ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—AUGUST 25, 2014 5 <br /> Councilmember McClung thanked Park and Recreation Manager Michelle Olson for her years <br /> of service to the City of Arden Hills. He wished her well in the future. He also noted that he <br /> would be out of town from September 1st through September 14th and would be missing a City <br /> Council meeting. <br /> Councilmember Werner thanked Michelle Olson for her 15 years of dedicated service to the <br /> City. He indicated that he would be out of town next week. <br /> Councilmember Holden congratulated Michelle Olson on her move to Atlanta and thanked her <br /> for her dedication to the community. <br /> Councilmember Holden discussed the City's website guidelines. <br /> Councilmember Holmes wished Michelle Olson well and stated that she would be missed. <br /> Mayor Grant stated that he would miss Michelle Olson and thanked her for her 15 years of <br /> service to the City of Arden Hills. He encouraged her to keep in touch with the City and its <br /> representatives. <br /> Mayor Grant discussed a recent Cable Commission meeting he attended with Director of <br /> Finance and Administrative Services Iverson. At this point, representatives are proposed to <br /> remain as is although the group would continue to discuss the structure of the Commission. <br /> City Administrator Klaers commented that the City of Shoreview has withdrawn from the North <br /> Suburban Cable Commission effective December 31, 2014. It was his understanding that <br /> Shoreview was concerned with reduced PEG fees and ongoing operating expenses; and the length <br /> of time and the amount of money that has been spent on the franchise fee negotiations. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br /> adiourn.
