Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />Attached is Resolution 2015-011 that Awards the County Road E Improvement Project to Park <br />Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder. Awarding the contract now when <br />actual construction will not start until probably May, allows the contractor to get the signal <br />system equipment ordered. Staff recommends adopting Resolution 2015-011. <br /> <br />Also attached is Cooperative Agreement PW2015-02 between Ramsey County and Arden Hills. <br />This Agreement is very similar to others the City has entered into with the exception that this one <br />calls for the County to pay the City as the City holds the construction contract. As with <br />agreements on similar projects, the agreement calls for the County to pay their construction cost <br />plus 24% overhead (12% for design and 12% for construction). Staff recommends approving <br />Cooperative Agreement PW2015-02. <br /> <br />Finally, attached is a proposal from Elfering and Associates for construction services. The <br />services include construction management, construction staking, and a full time inspector on site. <br />The proposal is on an hourly basis not to exceed a total of $99,360. A similar proposal was <br />received from Bolton and Menk but it was much higher.
