Mr. Mark Ruff April 9, 2015
Ehlers and Associates, Inc. Page 2
MAXFIELD RESEARCH INC.
In large part, the preference among buyers is for more traditional neighborhood separation in
terms of product types and a gradual increase in density from single‐family to multifamily with
some buffering in between. As an example, single‐family with detached villas across the street
and then in a nearby neighborhood, increase again up to rowhomes or small condo buildings
followed by another separation for high‐density multifamily structures.

Buyers are encouraged by closer proximity to neighborhood goods and services and better
connections to public transit, but they also continue to desire other natural features such as
walking trails, parks and some privacy from their neighbors. We believe Option 2 meets the
balance between density that promotes opportunity for proximity to transit, retail, and jobs
with the comfort of traditional neighbhorhoods.

If you have questions regarding this information, please let me know.

Sincerely,

MAXFIELD RESEARCH INC.

Mary C. Bujold
President
