<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: June 10, 2015 <br /> <br />TO: Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> Sue Iverson, Director of Finance and Administrative Services <br /> <br />FROM: Terry Maurer, Public Works Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Changes/Additions to 2016-2020 CIP <br /> <br /> <br />Listed below are the changes and/or additions we made to the 2016-2020 CIP. <br /> <br />A. Parks Department <br /> Added TCAAP park development of $7,000,000 over the years 2017-2019. This is <br />the estimated park development cost from the TCAAP financial model. <br /> Added the tennis court at Johanna Marsh Park for reconstruction in 2017. The court <br />was scheduled for resurfacing in 2014, but due to weather it was not completed. The <br />court has deteriorated to the point that resurfacing is not cost-effective and the court <br />should be reconstructed. <br /> <br />B. Sanitary Sewer Department <br /> Added the TCAAP Trunk Sanitary Sewer & Lift Station in the amount of $1,200,000 <br />in year 2016. This is the sanitary sewer and lift station associated with the Spine Road <br />construction. The estimated costs are those presented in the preliminary design <br />information previously provided to the Council. <br /> <br />C. Water Department <br /> Added the TCAAP Trunk Water improvement associated with the Spine Road <br />construction in the amount of $1,000,000 in 2016. The estimated costs are those <br />presented in the preliminary design information previously provided to the Council. <br /> Added the construction of a new water tower on the TCAAP site in the amount of <br />$4,800,000 in 2016 to coincide with the development of the Spine Road. The <br />estimated costs are those presented in the preliminary design information previously <br />provided to the Council. <br /> Added a new booster station in the amount of $1,000,000 in 2016 for the water <br />system to provide redundancy to the existing high-pressure zone and to serve <br />TCAAP. The year 2016 coincides with the construction of the Spine Road and trunk
