1 � Pte' ��*'•-. <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL- JUNE 11, 2001 D L R t-�"" �T <br /> 5 <br /> ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> Mr. Lynch stated the CPI Guidant issue has been resolved. He noted Ramsey County has not <br /> responded on the Public Works Facility RFP. He added the contractor has offered to sell the <br /> remaining Kasota stone to the City for $11,000. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br /> to authorize purchase of the remaining Kasota stone for an amount not to exceed <br /> $11,000. The motion carried (4-1 Rem). <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski noted a request from the Public Works staff to get to know the City <br /> Council members better. She added the Public Works staff have concerns about being consulted <br /> about the condition of the roads and the Pavement Management Program. She suggested <br /> forming a task force to explore standing rules for the City Council to include how they want the <br /> minutes read and other issues. <br /> Mayor Probst noted he received a call from Mr. Mark Kelliher with his concerns about receiving <br /> direction from the City Council for the Operations and Finance Committee. He added that Mr. <br /> Kelliher indicated that committee members would not be upset if they were disbanded in favor of <br /> a task force. Mr. Kelliher indicated they have talents and wish to serve the city in whatever <br /> capacity is needed. Mayor Probst commended staff members for their quick action in response <br /> to the recent ink dye spill. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion <br /> to adjourn the meeting at 10:03 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> Dennis Probst Joe Lynch <br /> Mayor City Administrator <br /> NOTICE OF MEETINGS <br /> The next Council Meeting will be held Monday, June 25, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the Arden Hills <br /> Council chambers. <br />
